Mission Statement:

By engineering students, for engineering students, everywhere.
Sharing
social, networking and knowledge-based opportunities to build global connections.

What do we do?

The Intercollegiate Engineering Alliance brings together university students studying engineering from across the world for mutual benefit, taking advantage of the new digital way of life by sharing events run by the alliance members and running free events of our own, including the world’s largest student engineering conference this summer. As a student and as a university, there are no obligations whatsoever to joining

Values:

DEI

Diversity, Equality & Inclusion

We are levelling the playing field, uniting students from all backgrounds behind a common passion for engineering

Collaboration

The IEA is an environment to share and grow for mutual benefit

Drive

We are an organisation for ambitious engineering students keen to connect and share with their peers across the globe

Our journey:

What started as just a twinkle in the eye of a handful of ambitious university engineering societies and students in September 2020 looking to make the most of the connectivity afforded by the digital transformation triggered by the pandemic, has been transformed into a reality, through the hard work happening behind the scenes to expand the network and deliver quality events. Meet the team who have been instrumental in the IEA's success below!
